Terms, Conditions and Notes

  • Viewing of the venue can be arranged by appointment.
  • Our venue caters for a maximum of 40 adults and 30 children. Larger parties can be accommodated subject to approval of Farmyard@Sediba and an additional fee of R35 per person
  • Our venue is an outdoor venue. Tents are shade tents and not waterproof.
  • A non-refundable 50% deposit is due within 48hrs of booking to secure your date (check availability before paying your deposit); Full payment is due 14 days before your function
  • Full payment is due 14 days before function
  • Breakage deposit of R500 is payable with your final payment and will be included in your invoice. This will be refunded if no items are missing, broken or damaged.
  • Farmyard@Sediba reserves the right to cancel bookings should booking and payment terms not be adhered too.  Deposits are non-refundable.
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notification & are valid until 30 November 2018
  • Once off cleaning fee of R250 per party applicable – compulsory – Self-catering option
  • Entertainment options must be prebooked and prepaid – these are ALL subject to availability
  • Ponies: Kids ages imperative when booking pony rides so that we can book suitable ponies for you
  • Final guest numbers and additional items required need to be confirmed & paid at least 7 days before function
  • Prepayment of all additional, optional and food items required 7 days before function; Orders must be finalised 7 days before function
  • Half day venue hire is for 3.5 hours (morning) and 4 hours (afternoon) only. Time extension is available at the discretion of the owner. Please be considerate of the group who have booked the slot after yours. The allocated time slots are fixed and cannot be adjusted in the event of the guests or hosts being late. Party times are:
    • HALF DAY 09am – 12.30pm OR 2pm – 6pm /
    • FULL DAY 9.30am – 5pm /
    • EVENING: 3pm – 12pm
  • No timeslot extensions are possible on a Sunday
  • You are welcome to bring along your Bluetooth sound system (we have one for rent) but no loud speakers will be allowed without prior arrangement with Farmyard@Sediba
  • No loud music will be allowed blaring from vehicles – the party is to be held in the designated function area and not in the parking lot
  • Farmyard@Sediba will set up the function for you as agreed, but the hosting is your responsibility
  • We do not offer a waiter service, a hosting service or a child minding service.
  • Parking of cars strictly in the designated parking area.
  • No smoking under thatched areas – please do not drop you cigarette butts on our grass or flick it into the veld.
  • No persons are allowed to enter our animal camps and paddocks – please respect our animals as they are our pets. The horses are not allowed to be ridden
  • Adult supervision of children is required on the playground, equipment and jumping castles at all times. No children may be left or roam the farm unsupervised.
  • All items included in the venue hire / used in the décor of parties remain the property of Farmyard@Sediba. Any losses of items or damage to property due to vandalism, theft, neglect or breakage will be charged to your account.
